"I have so much appreciation for Mark, it's difficult to convey in an online review. I browsed lots of different options for where to go for my girlfriend's engagement ring. Many seemed generic, impersonal, and/or unreasonably priced. What stood out to me from Mark's reviews and his website were his authenticity, beautiful custom designs, and how he engaged his customers. (Also his reasonable pricing.) From our first interaction, he exceeded even these high expectations. My girlfriend and I are a bit nontraditional and we worked together with Mark to design her ring. Mark listened carefully to our preferences (including our desire to have a lab grown diamond) and we had a lot of back and forth about different possibilities. And- the ring that he ultimately designed for her is breathtaking. It is as beautiful and unique as she is. It includes a complementary wedding band that fits with it perfectly (together, the two look like a single, balanced and cohesive ring), and he's now in the process of designing my own wedding band and engagement ring (like I said, we're a bit nontraditional). I feel incredibly fortunate that we crossed paths with this person; for the most meaningful purchase I've ever made, the stakes couldn't be higher and Mark knocked it out of the park. Mark, thank you so much for everything; we both feel so grateful and lucky to be able to wear your artwork for the rest of our lives."

"Mark was absolutely amazing! We had a custom ring made out of my boyfriend's wisdom tooth with diamonds set within in. We were very worried about the structure of the tooth breaking, but he was extremely careful. He drilled down into the tooth to anchor the diamonds in the metal so they wouldn't budge. Mark is a true artist. He took such great care of us. Thank you, Mark!!"

"Mark was excellent! He resized my ring perfectly. We also consulted with him for custom wedding rings. He listened to our needs and is very knowledgeable. Pricing was broken down and fair. In the end we decided to go with something made by the original designer of my engagement ring, but I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anybody seeking resizing or custom jewelry."

"What can I say about Mark, his passion and his work, quite a lot actually. I first approached him about incorporating my fiancée’s heirloom diamond into a new ring. Mark walked me through the design process and in the end its beauty is unrivaled. His artistry and technical skill make this something we will have trouble passing onto our own kids one day. We then approached him about designing and creating my wedding band. I wanted a design inspired by Lichtenberg Figures, which while certainly a first for him, did not dampen his enthusiasm for the project. Mark again made the design process a breeze and his mastery brought a ring to life I only had seen in my dreams. Finally Mark worked to reconfigure a pendant we received into a different chain/fastener configuration and for the third time, he nailed it. He always showed us his friendly nature (we always left with a smile on our faces), amazing design/technical ability, very reasonable prices for materials/labor, and most importantly a feeling that Mark would do anything to make us happy. We have recommended him many times to friends and family and will continue to do so for a long time. If you have read this review, do yourself a favor and choose Jewelry by Design."
