"Mark, what a journey we have been on together!
In December of 2014, my husband and I stopped by your shop. We had a beautiful diamond that needed a more beautiful setting. You showed us some of rings you were working on. One caught my eye! You looked closely at our stone and my hand and told us that you were certain that you could create a setting I would love. We told you some of the specific things we wanted and you assured us it was possible. We wrote a $500 deposit check and went on our way.
We lived in Honolulu and would not be back to San Diego until May of 2015. As you promised, you began sending us pictures of the setting as it was being developed. In April of 2015, you sent an email and said you were looking forward to seeing us in May. On May12, we arrived at your store and you showed us your work. The ring was beautiful. You said you had about eight more hours to finish the work. On May 14 we picked up the ring. Let me say, you are an artist! We love the ring!!
It is a classy piece of work. You are definitely a true artist! The brilliance of the diamond is highlighted by the setting you created. We appreciate your skills, your integrity, and the very special diamond ring you have created for us. Thanks for being able to work with our timeline! Greatly appreciated. THE BEST!!!"

We had an excellent experience with Mark from beginning to end. We contacted him based on previous Yelp reviews and we continued to be impressed throughout the process. For our 20th wedding anniversary we asked him to create a matching band for my wedding ring. His confidence was reassuring and the execution of the requested ring was impeccable. Mark is a true artist and jeweler. In addition to straight forward pricing, he offers a most appreciated discount to military personnel. I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Mark's work. I look forward to having him create more fabulous pieces in the future!
Follow up review 4/30/2015: We had a chance to use Mark's services again. This time to make a pair of earring from some gems we were gifted from a friend. We took in several of the gems and Mark not only took the time to tell me the type and value of each he actually made a trade for one of the stones. Finished product was as great as expected. Pleased once again. Highly recommend!"

"I went with my now fiancee to design her engagement ring. She's very particular in what she likes and Mark listened to her. When we got the finished product, she was absolutely in love with it. Mark has an eye for detail and he discussed with her ways to make the ring better and it really paid off. We recently went back to Mark to figure out her wedding band. She had so much fun designing the band to perfectly complement her engagement ring. I love my fiancee and the smile on her face showed both Mark and I how much she loved the finished products."
